Meet Dr. Workman
Personal History
Dr. Brian P. Workman is originally from Dayton, Ohio. He was raised during most of his childhood in Columbia, South Carolina, where he enjoyed actively participating in baseball, horseback riding, camping and soccer. He is a graduate of Spring Valley High School in Northeast Columbia where he played soccer for the Vikings. Dr. Workman attended Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia where he was captain of the Tiger soccer team and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
Dr. Workman’s formal chiropractic training was received from the Doctor of Chiropractic Program at the prestigious Life University in Marietta, Georgia. On his way to graduating Cum Laude, Dr. Workman successfully completed all requirements set forth by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners to become Nationally Board Certified as well as trained, in what was at the time, the largest chiropractic clinic by volume in the world.
Dr. Workman currently enjoys volunteering his time in the community by assisting educators or mentoring students in our downtown Charleston County Schools and by passing on his soccer experience and knowledge to youth soccer players in the Mt. Pleasant Soccer Club.
Business History
Dr. Workman opened his first office off of East Bay Street on the downtown Charleston Peninsula over six years ago. He has recently relocated his office to a more beautiful and accessible building in downtown Charleston, the Fountain Walk building, next to the Aquarium where you have views of the Charleston Harbor from the waiting room.
